Requests for these can be made in person at the surgery, by post or by fax (01296 715439).
When requesting a repeat prescription in person please use the tear-off slip provided on the right hand side of your prescription and only tick the items required.
Repeat prescriptions require 2 working days for processing. If however you are a dispensing patient of the practice, please allow 4 full working days for the production of the prescription and the dispensing of the medication. Collection times may vary if your prescription is dispensed at another chemist, please get confirmation of times directly from them. There is a table detailing collection times on the above dispensary tab.
Where posting repeat prescription requests please allow 5 working days before collection.
Unfortunately we cannot accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone for safety reasons, however on-line booking is now available (see below)
Please note that we offer a free delivery service to our dispensing patients who are over 60 and who live in the villages surrounding Winslow, ask at the dispensary for further details of this service or follow the link below.
You can now use the internet via the link at the top of this page to request repeat prescriptions at your leisure, 24 hours a day.
Whether you are at home or work, you can quickly log on to Patient Access and submit your repeat medication request. This secure and easy to use system has taken the place of our e-mail request system and can be accessed by following the link from this website.
Before you can use the system you need to register at reception. This is so we can verify your identity and give you your unique identifier numbers. These will enable you to create a Patient Access account so you can start to use the facilities available. Once you have created your account you will then be able to log on, see a list of your repeat medication and tick those you require. If you require more information about this service please contact the Practice Manager or enquire at reception.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
